Build Better for Project Managers
AI-generated call summaries and transcriptions, recordings of your meetings with AI-powered insights.
Recording meetings with Build Better
Create an account and link up your Google calendar, and the Recorder will show up in your meetings. If it doesn't show up, you can add it manually from the Build Better dashboard using the "Join a call" action.
When a meeting has finished, it's a good idea to log into the app and take a look to make sure the tagging is correct, and to review the AI summary for accuracy.
Recommended uses
🗃️ Data retention and reference
BuildBetter prevents loss of information shared in calls. It stores recordings and generates searchable AI transcripts from videos. It attempts to do some auto-tagging based on call participants, company, and topics to help make calls easier to find later.
📝 Call notes
Better Builder supports attaching various information to calls:
- Short Description
- Summary
- Notes
- Generated Documents
- Comments
After a call with a client you manage, whether you attended or not, you should review the call and fact-check the AI-generated summary, making sure that key points and action items are covered so that other team members can quickly review the subject of the call.
Generated documents can make a useful starting point for standard docs, like proposals. Comments are a good way to take notes while you watch a call recording.
🙌 Sentiment analysis
The Signals tab in BetterBuilder can help us identify trends and pull out interesting bits of calls, like good testimonials, or causes of client frustrations.
📚 Producing training materials
Team members share valuable information all the time. When you see something that seems like knowledge that should be captured, be sure to tag it as "Documentation" and/or organize it into the "Training" folder.
The BuildBetter team have made the slightly sketchy decision to let their AI tool write their documentation. Nonetheless, if you need it, here it is.
You can also ping the Build Better team directly in Slack, in the private #buildbetter-tangible channel. This is for actual product support. Access will be granted upon request by Jhoanne or Julia.
