Project Management Team

Introduction

Project managers at Tangible act as a buffer between clients and our implementation team, and keep projects running smoothly. In many companies, these responsibilities are split into two distinct roles: account managers and project managers. Project managers at Tangible take on both roles, but are assisted by strategists.

Weekly check-in

The project management team meets in #team-project-managers on Fridays at 12pm Eastern.

💬 Communication

  • Acknowledging new communication from the clients they manage;
  • Collecting answers to client queries from team members and strategists;
  • Facilitating communication and information sharing between implementation team members working on tasks, strategists, and clients;
  • Organizing meetings between strategists and clients;
  • Organizing meetings between strategists and implementation team members;
  • Updating clients on task and project statuses.

🗃️ Organisation

  • Keeping project assets and tasks organised across Clickup, Figma, and Google Drive;
  • Delegating tasks with the assistance, when necessary, of a strategist;
  • When relevant, pulling important information out of client task management tools;
  • Maintaining client account documentation for easier hand-off.

💵 Billing

  • Collecting estimates from strategists and team members and delivering them to clients;
  • Monitoring budget utilisation and warning clients in advance when estimates need adjustment or credit needs top-up.

👮 Management

A well-performing project manager will reduce surprise, and deliver wins for the client in such a way that they're aware they occurred.
